I've identified the .22

I've contacted Navy Arms and they have confirmed that the .22 Olympia Pistole I've been trying to authenticate is, in fact, an import made in China. They don't have the specifics on this particular pistol, but do confirm that it is a "knockoff". Thanks to everyone who helped me with this search.

Phew...at last, Rome, the naked truth !!

We do have some good experts here, I'm usually always impressed, but it WAS fun for the rest of us lowly guessers.

Glad you didn't mind my input, nice to hear from you. After all... my Russian ($60 secondhand) TOZ "8M" heavy barrel .22LR can shoot as well as a BR50 Anchutz costing $3,500, and better than some others up to 50m on RF metalic silhouettes!!

Go with it Rome...!

Thanks for all your help. By the way, this pistol is very accurate because it has had some very nice gunsmithing. It has had the receiver adjusted and a trigger job. That would account for the extremely smooth and reliable action. The total into it was almost $500 with purchase and smith work. I'll buy it for $200.

Thanks again,
Rome
