My Remington 870 cant eject spent shells reliably, and in most cases it only drizzles off the side of the ejection port, or stovepipes when another shells pops onto the elevator.
I go to the shotgun range and I'm shooting shells, pumping the action as damn hard as I can only to see the spent shells only barely drizzle from the side of the ejecton port.
I look to the left side where I see a teenage boy with another 870 tactical. He just barely pumps the slide like a baby, and the shells fly a damn 25 feet into the air.
I went back home, and now I'm in the process of finding a gunsmith. I understand that replacing the ejecor and spring is hard because it has to take new rivets.
Does my ejector spring look alright?
I would like to add that a buddy took some shots with it aswell and the very first pump, the shell stovepiped.
