It’s that time of the year...decisions wonderful decisions

So it’s that time of the year that I get to make a firearm purchase. I have three choices that are all equally in the running.
1. A Uberti High Wall reproduction: I do not have a single action or 45-70 and I just think these things are beautiful.

2. A Henry case color hardened 45-70....I love lever actions.

3. A S&W 629 5” barrel, I do not have a double action .44mag which is my favorite round.

I won’t be disappointed in any of them but what would you do?

Also, I reload, so other than buying dies, brass and bullets for the 45-70 that will be a non issue.

Well if you've got a place to shoot it I'd go with the Henry.

Disclaim: I think I've shot lever actions guns less than 5 times in my life and never a .45-70 but Henry surely does make some beautiful guns and they are American made so that influenced my decision.

Good luck.

Need I say more?

Mine is a 22 but there is just something about a Henry. My Henry will be leaving me in January when my grandson becomes an Eagle Scout. I promised it to him years ago if he reached that goal. He has completed everything except the 20 mile hike as he completed his project last Saturday. The only reason it will be January as the ceremony will be for 3 and my son-in-law is the scoutmaster.

Lol... no Scorch, you do not, that thing is absolute eye candy...:D. I have been looking harder at that 1885, they are just beautiful and there is just something fun about those single shots.
As for the Henry, I have a .44mag Rossi 92, a 30-30 Winchester 94 and have always wanted a 45-70 Henry and a .45lc Uberti 1873 to finish off my lever gun collection.
