I was at a cookout over the weekend, catching up with some old friends. And we started talking guns. I said all I have is revolvers right now. And was asked me how many do you have? I had stop a think for second before answering. :)
Oh and the answer is 6, 3 Smiths 2 Rugers and 1 Colt. I know that is nothing compared a lot of folks but I'm pretty happy with my growing collection.

Me too. Right now score is Revolvers 14, Autos 9.

Got in to bullseye pistol a few years ago, caused me to add 4 autos. Now it's IDPA and I shoot revolver more than auto.

They're like Lays potatoe chips, you can't have just one! lol Welcome to the addiction.
I started with a Smith model 66-2 with 2 1/2" barrel,Then bought a 637 which my wife took, so I bought a model 60.I found a model 64 at a pawn shop and bought it.
Then my lgs had a nickel plated model 37 that followed me home.(they're all snubb's)
Also have two Colt's, 1875 Remington 45cal, and 1862 Colt police model 36 cal.
Still want a Python, and a Smith model 629

Forgot to add... 10 revolvers and 10 auto's

I believe I am at 12 and 3 at the moment. (Mk III Ruger, Colt 1911, and a Springfield XDm on the Semi Auto List)

Unfortunately my Barbecue Gun is a Custom Colt 1911, and not a revolver.

I have been swapping my Goodyears over for some nice wood, so the revolvers are getting nicer all the time. The problem is they are all SS, or Black Air Weights. A true Barbecue Revolver needs to be Hi Polish Blued with Exotic Grips. I have owned several, just not smart enough to have kept them over the years.

Well when I start working, I think my revolvers will over pass my autos..

Something about 22lr Revolvers.. ;)

I'm down to 1 auto. I've got ~10 revolvers. I do need to get an auto in 45 still though. It's on the list. But I still have a lot of revolvers on the list.

I hope everybody is happy with their collection ...and if they want it to grow...that's good too.

I'm very lucky / have most everything I want ...in revolvers and semi-autos ..and I think my count is about 20 S&W revolvers - and one Freedom Arms single action revolver / and about 18 semi-autos ...but it isn't the numbers that matter...its whether you like every gun in the collection ( and I do ).

A buddy was busting my chops for the variety of .357 mag revolvers I have ...( and I think its 10 ...but so what - mod 19's, 27's, 28's, 686's, 66's and the Freedom Arms )/ everyone should buy, collect and shoot whatever they like ) ...and I like S&W revolvers...and this new Freedom Arms a lot and I really like the .357 mag caliber. When I find a good deal / I pick up another one ...and for the duplicates...I'll pass them down to the kids and grandkids in a few yrs...when the mood suits me.

Well, Whirlwind,
I'd say you have a good spread of revolvers, but I have to ditto Super Sneaky and suggest more Rugers! ;)

Congralulations--revolvers are the adult handgun. I've been shooting handguns over 50 years. I went through my bottom-feeder phase....1911's, Commanders, Glock, CZ, Hi Standard, Ruger, Browning...a few revolvers along the way too. After getting my CC several years ago I got serious and decided, based on my experience with the tenuous reliabilty of autos....particularly the readily concealable models, decided I would not trust my life to one. I still own a couple of Ruger .22 autos, but other than those I have cleansed my collection of them and have accumulated a couple dozen wheelguns--Colts, Smiths, a couple of Rugers, an H and R and an old J.C. Higgins. Quality revolvers are elegant, reliable, and trouble-free. I'm not looking back.

The only 2 problems with buying more Rugers is that the practice will spend your money and cause you to want more S&Ws at the same time.

And I hate revolvers...

I consider myself a revolver guy, but I actually have more autos. Guess there is just more "different" designs with autos.

But my revolvers would be the last to go

I have 6 revolvers and 1 auto (Coonan Classic 1911 style 357 magnum).

(NAA 22 short, S&W 640, S&W 627, BFR 45/70, Ruger Vaquero 357, S&W 63)

I am a revolver man

i love revolvers. only have one at the moment, but there will be many more in the future. the only semi auto i will probably ever own is my smith and wesson 22A, just because my grandpa gave it to me and I will never get rid of it for that reason and that reason alone. its jams alot and its not very accurate, but he gave it to me so thats all that matters.

I only ever seen the need for two auto loading handguns. I have a Ruger MK II & a Colt 45. All other handguns are revolvers with fully half of them being single action.

I'm at 8 revolvers 1 auto. My Auto is my BBQ gun and I just carry that to impress the ladies, it's a high point 45. :D

I've got 11 revolvers. soon the day will come when i'm legally considered mature and responsible enough to buy a modern handgun, at which point i'll begin accumulating autos too, but until then, black powder it is.

not that i'd feel undergunned with any one of my 3 matched pairs of revolvers, mind you

what's a BBQ gun?

I've got 4 revolvers and one auto. 3 of my revolvers are converted b/p revolvers. Plus one old Vaquero in .45 colt, and a High Standard .22 Model HD Military.
