I am building a light bearing kydex piece for it. It will be a tight fit and I will likely have to punch new holes in the leather and as much as it pains me to do that it will be my ideal holster.

I have one question for yall. How should I construct the channel for the TLR-2 to be drawn from?

Pics to follow! :D

channel for the TLR-2

Those are very tricky, but I build them all the time.First you have to mold the kydex to the gun with the light attached. remove the kydex trim it up with a band saw. then final shape with a wire wheel on a grinder. then buff the edges with a felt wheel or by hand with some scotchbrite. now you are ready to drill some holes to attach the kydex to the leather.I hope you have a wooden work bench for the next step.lay a piece of cardboard on the workbench place the pistol on the cardboard with the grip sticking off the edge of the bench where you can get a full grip on it.Now place the kydex on the gun and screw the kydex to the bench with some wood screws threw the holes you drilled. now the gun is secure and you cant get it out without removing the kydex or creating the light channel.now it is time for the heat gun.you only want to heat up the area directly behind the light as the kydex starts to soften, slowly pull the gun toward you . Once you can pull the gun completely out remove the heat and continually slide the gun in and out as it cools and hardens up.Now you you have created a sight channel, you can attach it to your leather and make necessary adjustments to tweak it to your liking. I am sure there is a better way to do this but when I started building holsters I had to figure this out myself and it works for me.

Thank you very much I am going to find a large chunk of wood to screw it to.

Since ive never done it before I didnt know if the kydex behaved that way. :D
