It's official: GWB has 271 elec votes!

Now Algore gets to make the official announcement as President-of-the-Senate - George W has been elected POTUS.
What sweet irony. :D
 
I want to know when algore is scheduled to do his thing on the Senate floor.

It'll be worth watching as he puts the final nail in his own coffin.
 
Funny - Algore only got 260 votes... Didn't he have a lot more than that projected? Something like 3 shy?
Wow... Gore keeps losing support...
 
Apparently one of the DC electors refused to cast her vote either way. A protest of some kind, I guess.

Senator or Respresentative objects/challenges the Electoral College results on 1/6/01,

it throws the entire process to the House to decide the Presidency....
 
Sure, let someone object, and throw it into the REPUBLICAN controlled House....that would be, well, kinda stupid, if ya ask me.

Unless somebody's gettin' a LOT of benefits out of it...
