ithica model 600

I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of dating and rough value on a ithica model 600. The serial number is s 52000xx. And hello to everyone I am newand thank you for your time

Welcome aboard....

Ithaca imported the 600, made by SKB in Japan. IIRC, they started in the late 60s. Pop had his by 1971. A fine little 20 gauge that kicked it in the uplands.

I recently acquired a similar 600 in 20 gauge. It's a claycrunching death ray and does really well on Dove. In VG condition, it was OTD last year for less than $500.

I just happened to see one the other day ...in one of my local used shops for about $ 375 as I recall ...but it had quite a few handling marks on it .....

Condition is everything on these older guns ...hard to tell on yours without a photo...
