Ithica M-66 Supersingle

Picked one up pretty cheap, I was just wondering what the general impression of these is.
Kind of neat, a lever action single shot 12 guage.

Thanks

Long time friend and hunting buddy had one in 20 gauge. It was his first shotgun, and after he switched bird duties to an 11-48 20 gauge, it served as his slug gun.

He wasn't the most dedicated gun cleaner, and it held up for 20 years or so, maybe still is.

HTH....

I've probably seen three for sale in the last ten years. IMHO, most who have'em keep'em. If I can catch one at a C note or less, I'll take it home.

I had one and I sure wouldn't pay a "C note" for one of them:rolleyes: It is just a single shot and just about useless to me. Pump 12 gauges are the way to go!

I LOVE Ithica Model 66s, and will buy every one I get tha chance to. The previous poster that said they're hard to come by is right on. they are not finished well, but they are functional, and certainly better than any other $100 shotgun out there. Much nicer than a Mossberg bolt gun.
