Gentleman,
I have an Ithaca side x side 12ga that I need some help with. First off there is no model on it. It has 30" barrels, double triggers, a bird dog scene engraved on both sides,"smokeless powder steel" stamped on 1 bbl, made in USA. on the other. (Does smokeless powder steel mean damascus?) Under the chambers, on the reciever, its stamped F12, ser. #431101 and "patent applied for". I looked in a book that I have and there are several "hammerless double grades". How can I tell if this is one of those? If so, how can I tell which grade? Thank you for your help,
Ken
