I would like to remove the trigger group on my 12 ga. Ithaca model '87. I've made an initial attempt, but given that I am quite anal about burred screws, I gave up as soon as I met meager resistance on my hollow-ground driver.
There are, it seems to me, five screws involved: two notched screws each side of the receiver, and two corresponding set screws. And the mother of all screws on the left-hand side of the receiver...How do I remove the trigger group for inspection, cleaning, and lubrication?
