It is a short barrel, pistol grip side by side in 20 gauge. What were the years of production and how many units were made? Ithaca gun link

Not sure of the numbers, but they are one handful to fire.

Mac Scott had an article about them a couple of years ago in one of his catalogs. I'll see if I still have it.

According to The World's Fighting Shotguns by Thomas F. Swearengen the Auto & Burglar was made from 1922 until 1934. Approximately 4500 were fabricated. However, not all were actually sold.
This book has a several page writeup on the Ithaca, among many other shotguns of this style; including the Handy Gun, Holland Auto Burglar, The Defiance Anti-
Bandit Gun P-50 etc.
