Does anyone know anything about the Galesi-Brescia 35 (25 cal)? I would like to know the value of one and how safe are they to fire. The one I am interested in obtaining has XIX next to the trigger which I assume to be the model number. Any other information concerning this gun would be appreicated. Thank you.

Those Galesi pistols were made in Italy and were imported here prior to 1968. They were low priced, though not of too bad quality.

The XIX (19) is the Roman numeral date code which started in 1945, so your gun was made in 1964. They are safe to fire, but not always as reliable as better quality guns. Obviously, the .25ACP is near the bottom end of power for any serious purposes, but it is nothing I want to be shot with and an awful lot of people have been done in with pistols of that caliber.

Jim, thank you for your fast response concerning my question about the Galesi 25 cal. You did answer all my questions. I really don't need another gun but for 50 bucks I guess I can't go wrong. Thanks again.

Does anyone know how to field strip one of these subject guns and put them back togeter again? I did manage to disasemble it however, for some reason I can't get the safety pin back through the hole because of a spring loaded detent seems to be stuck in place. Anyone have a suggestion or another forum for this kind of question? Thank you.
