It Has Already Started

The courteous and honourable thing to do, would be to seal the ballots until the Bush Administration is over, and then recount them.

The only object I see to these current "recounts" is to weaken the Presidency of W. Bush, and I feel it is a deliberate attempt to balkanize the United States.

Let me be a bit more clear:

These "recounts" ar nothing more than an effort to cause civil unrest, and to incite and inflame passions against the legal President of the United States.

They are the mewlings of poor losers, as base and vicious a display of poor sportsmanship that I have ever seen outside of a Third World country. I take that back, I've never seen such clumsy political machination in any East African dictatorship: Idi Amin would have been embarrassed to have to resort to such political tantrums, breath-holding and thumb-sucking, that the Democrats are stooping to with these "recounts".

LAWDOG . Putting Idi Amin in the same sentence with these guys inpugnes poor Idi . At least he did what he did up front and out in the open . With him you knew what you were getting , however distasteful . ( Did I mention I was eye balling his limo the other day ?) The Dems tried to get military votes thrown out and had the stones to issue a directive on how to do it . The more it went on the more the Dems looked like crap . They lost all respect that folks like FDR and JFK had given them .
With all the yelling about Out of staters coming into Fla. causing trouble , one must wonder what Jesse Jackson's FLA. address is . To top it all off , when Gore left the building after his (long overdue) concession speech his whole staff was there to wish him well . About 200 people in all . Maybe more . I saw 3,count them,3 non white faces .Party of the people ?

All good points, but it is also about greed/status. Some of these news organizations will gain big time should they show how Bush stole Christmas.
