ISP's on Our Side

Hey guys, a little help here. There were some postings awhile ago regarding ISP's that are "gun-friendly". Does anybody remember who they were. My ISP was taken over by Prodigy, who now tells me that they don't support the Microsoft Outlook e-mail program--!!! So I am in the market for a new provider. Nothing fancy, just Internet access at the cheapest amount possible. Anybody. . ? Bueller?. . Anybody?

Try juno.com . Not the best but cheap and everywhere. They also have free access but are instituting restrictions on heavy users.

Free-i.net is apparently part of netzero.com now. Netzero is still available and free regardless of usage. The program sends a response window every ten minutes, or so, and if you don't respond, the link to the ISP will terminate. A small price to pay for free.

The NRA used to have an ISP that donated a portion of the proceeds to the NRA. There is a special software disk you can get from them by calling the ILA number I believe. This info is a bit old and I don't know if it is still current. It's up to you to find out.

Bluelight (K-Mart), Our house (ACE Hardware), and just about all other free ISP's that were market driven are gone now.

Also check here http://refdesk.com/free.html to see if there are other free ISPs.

OOOOOOK!
Maybe these will help.
First my favorite KABA
http://www.keepandbeararms.com
if your not subsribing to their newsletters stop now
and do so.KABA is the GOA of newsgroups and ISP servers
they are 19.99 a month for unlimited internet access
and are very agressive but their not available in all area's
for example TN their in every city except mine Memphis.
But Im gonna stay with AOL till they switch because I much prefer their agressive NO compromise attitude towrd our gunrights over any other.
Then theirs
http://www.outdoorsunlimited.net
who are also pro-gun but mostly for hunting and they will
contribute a dollar of your fee's to the NRA or other
orgs of your choice their the same price as KABA but also
have 3 screennames for you to use.
KABA aslo provides free emails address's
imagine that yourname@keepandbeararms.com
no question what right you support.
Enjoy!

JimPeel,

The NRA ISP was Netcom, and it has long since been absorbed by Mindspring which then merged with Earthlink. Don't know if either of those has any particular bias (haven't seen any). The NRA no longer has any program with an ISP that I'm aware of.
