Hi, I'm looking for a pocket holster for my Beretta Pico that has a spare mag holder built in. I have seen these in pictures before, but I don't remember who makes them.

Thanks

DeSantis makes a pocket holster called a Cargo Nemesis that fits that description, but I don't see one listed for the Pico.

Just thinking out loud, but are you sure you want your mag on the same side as your pistol? It seems to me that you would have to do some juggling, changing something from one hand to the other, to change mags with such a setup.

A holster with a mag holder seems good, but isn't.

As already noted, if you ever have to get to that mag out in anything but a practice session at the range, you'll have to switch the gun from your strong hand to your weak hand, grab the mag, and then either switch back or fire away with your weak hand.

The seeming convenience having both gun and mag in the same holster is also offset by the fact that it makes the overall size of the unit (which is supposed to be concealed) more obvious.

Just get a belt mag holder (IWB?) or carry a mag loose in your other pocket, on the other side.

I carry this as a BUG weak hand side pocket, 90% of my practice with this gun is weak hand unsupported shooting. So I would actually switch it to my strong hand to reload. Most days I have a double stack 9mm IWB with a reload on my belt. So I guess from my perspective having the spare mag for my back up gun in the same pocet is okay.
I found a place that makes one that the mag carrier snaps on to the pocket holster, so I could take it off if it's unworkable.

When I try to reload my LC9, the mag gets caught on the bottom of my shooting hand palm. I took a tip from my revolver-shooting practice and grasped the slide with my support hand & reloaded with my shooting hand. Take a firing grip and rack the slide.....I'm back in business! And it doesn't slow me down as much as I thought....

I don't want mag in pocket. If I am reloading My body might not be in position I can get into my pocket . Put mag on belt . In real life if you need to reload a 380 pocket pistol. Your in deep do do and need lot more gun and reinforcements :D

I picked up one of these, it has a tacky exterior surface which helps make the holster stick in the pants and the extra width seems to keep the holster from moving around in the pocket. The holster I had, I would sometimes find that the gun was less then optiomal position in the pocket. I just got it so the jury is still out, Midwayusa has it for like 15 dollars.

Like I said before, I carry this as a BUG with a double stack 9mm IWB as primary and a reload for the 9mm on my belt. I don't think I have any more room on my belt. :) If I'm reloading my BUG, my day had gone so many ways wrong, I think the mag in the pocket will be the least of my worries. :D
