I saw this at a local pawn shop today, I think if I bought it and actually had to pull it on someone they would think it was a toy and laugh.

Is that Taurus venture into the polymer revolver market? It looks bright enough that if you get into an accident you can leave it on the side of the road as a flare.
 
I don't see any appeal in the Taurus plastic revolvers.

Quite frankly I think they look like plastic toys and they weigh just as much as their metal revolvers. Nothing is saved except for production cost and quality.
 
The advantage to a plastic revolver

You can make an exact working replica on a 3d printer :D

Also they are recycleable and reduce our carbon footprint.

Lastly they will reduce gun violence because let's face it they will never fire a round!!!!

is it the taurus logo, the plastic components, or the wee little colored grips that make it less dangerous to be shot with?
 
Well I guess that's one way to make sure that you are in deadly danger before you draw your weapon. Then again, it's possible I might rather be shot myself than be seen with that thing in my hand.:rolleyes:
