Ishapore 2a1 308 enfield jungle carbine

So I bought an Ishapore 2a1 7.62x51 "jungle carbine" and it has a rear peep sight rather than the standard enfield sights. I need to order a new handguard for it and can't find any enfield handguards listed for a jungle carbine. Can I just order a standard enfield mk1 handguard?

However I think you are going to find what you have is an Enfield 2a1 converted to a Jungle Carbine style rifle by some importer in attempt to make it more salable. Basically a cut down, or sportorized former military rifle.
 
yea thanks for the reply. I know it is a converted Ishapore rifle, but I believe it is the same dimensions as an enfield 303 jungle carbine
 
Something here doesn't sound right. The 2A1 is anything but a "jungle carbine". The "jungle carbine" is a No. 5 Mk 1. Which do you have?
