Is VihtaVuori Tin Star powder a BP substitute or smokeless?

From what I've seen I think it is still a smokeless powder, but a light one for cowboy loads, but I'm not sure.

Can anyone confirm?

It & Trailboss are smokeless/high-volume powders intended for "cowboy+P" ballistics. They are not BP substitutes.

Note that neither are necessarily "low-pressure" but rather are intended to fill a large-volume case for mid-range velocities

I have used both. TinStar takes a little more powder than Trail Boss for equivalent velocities, but I see little difference in the practical result of the load.
