M mehavey New member Apr 21, 2015 #3 It & Trailboss are smokeless/high-volume powders intended for "cowboy+P" ballistics. They are not BP substitutes. Note that neither are necessarily "low-pressure" but rather are intended to fill a large-volume case for mid-range velocities

M mhblaw New member Apr 22, 2015 #4 I have used both. TinStar takes a little more powder than Trail Boss for equivalent velocities, but I see little difference in the practical result of the load.
