Is this HST ammo the same?

I was in a local gun store and noticed they had some ammo labeled Federal .40S&W HST JHP the item number for the ammo on the box was xm40hc. It was in a plain white box with black writing. Is this the same stuff that you would get from Ammunitiontogo.com or Streichers just in a different box? Or is it different ammo?

I've got a case+ of Federal 9BPLE (the hot pre-HST LE load) it's all in plain white boxes with black writing. They don't box case lots for LE consumption in the colorful boxes, it's a waste of money, but the ammunition is the same.

Very economical. Winchester does the same with Ranger T. It would make sense that more companies skip the colorful frills when it comes to bulk LE ammo.
