In November I bought a Dan Wesson 44 mag. with a 9 1/2" barrel. I like the DW since they are said to be stronger and will last longer than the Smiths, and I have a few in 357 mag. and am used to loading for them.
I was out shooting the other day with my 44 mag. and it seem to shoot farther than my 357 mags ever did.
So my question, is this an overload?
A warning to all you beginning reloaders, always follow the loading tables!!!
So I put a camera close to where it landed.

I'm happy with how my revolver shoots, but I don't remember the load that I used, just that it was a 300gr. bullet toped with a generous load of LiL Gun.
Happy shooting
