Ingram M10/9 SMG, NIB as pictured w/
all factory accessories. These are Texas MAC's assembled by Cobray & accept M11/9 mags & all M11/9 barrel accessories. Frames registered in 9mm & 45 ACP, set up in 9mm.

or a M11/9 for the same price.

what would you get, an M11 or an M10?

Thanks

Another option?

Some Texas MACs had frame weld problems and would come apart, some violently.

IMO M11/9s are a crapshoot - some are great out of the box, others need tweaking, and still others need more tweaking. And I've seen M11/9s NIB for under $1000 recently.

Going through all the money and wait time you do for an NFA weapon, getting a junky one for your first gun can sour you on the whole process.

Have you seen these : http://www.tacticalinc.com/mc/mcswd45w9-4.html

Craig has a great reputation on the boards, too.

If you're not getting a Powder Springs MAC, get one of his.

Good luck.

i'm so glad that i asked. i was going to make arrangements to purchase..... that site seems to offer more and has some great deals going... thanks..

more info anybody?

Texas MACs that were assembled by Cobray (Wayne Daniels) had all of the welds reworked before assembly so they don't have the same problems as the guns assembled in Stephenville.

In my experience most MACs do usually work pretty well out of the box. Though eventually you are going to change the configuration anyways since there are so many neat accessories out there for them. Many people like the sten conversion and have nothing but good stuff to say about it. I still use the Zytel mags, but its just a personal preference. Whatever your choice, have fun.
