Is this a good deal ?

I have the chance to buy a used Auto Ordinance 1911 style 38 super pistol. The gun is 4 or 5 years old and has only had a half a box of ammo fired thru it. Even comes with the original box. Price is $ 200.00 + tax, what do ya'll think ? Thanks guys !
 
Sounds like a good deal to me... I read that Auto-Ordnance put out some pretty rough guns, but they were supposedly still reliable. The .38 Super is a neat sounding round also.

I'd go for it. I have 2 Auto Ordnance .45's and they are both decent guns. They don't compare to a good Colt or Springfield (or even Norinco) but I've had good experiences with mine.
 
Auto-Ord huh. I never heard any super negative things about them (like Sundance or Phoenix Arms), but there are better guns for a little more $$$. I'd wait it out and get something more proven. Just my 2C.
