I found an A3 target model 20'' barrel for $789. This seems like a great deal to me. What do you think? By the way I was comparing Colts to Bushys the other day at a gun shop and found that the colt had a much better trigger but that the BM seemed to be better constructed overall.

Depending what state you're in and how large the gun shop is, $789.00 could be a pretty good price.
There will probably be guys posting about how you can save $25 or $50 by shopping around.
But then these are the same guys who will tell you that the way to fix a failure-to-feed is by "shooting a few hundred rounds through it" (which costs pretty significant $$$). Instead of telling you how to fix the problem by very slightly 'breaking' the too-sharp-cause-it's-brand-new edges on the feed ramp. Sigh.
In today's political climate, lots of shops have stopped carrying 'evil black rifles'. So I'd advise you to snap it up, and then you can begin the never-ending quest of buying as many 20 and 30 rd mags as you can find.

Yes it comes with the detachable handle. I'm from Michigan and up here they tend to go for $900 give or take 20-30$. I saw one in Indiana last weekend and they wanted $999!! Needless to say when I saw this deal for $789 I became much more interested. Now how do I explain this the Wife??

1) well, why do you need xxx pairs of shoes
2) have you seen all the crime in our neighborhood
3) sneak in in and hope she doesn't notice? Thats reason enough to have a few guns around, whats one more. This approach works better with handguns.
