a post ban polytech with a 16" barrel and milled reciever for a bushmaster shorty "AK" model both in simular condition. Do you think this is a fair trade?

DEPENDS............."if', you WANT the AK, really bad.......yes, if you're asking is it a good value / deal......NO WAY.
Pre-ban Poly, would be a sweeet deal.....post bans were sold for $300.-$400.00...........;)
 
Shoes, what a rotten thing to do. You just really messed some poor guy up, gettin an $850 AR for a $300-$400 AK :rolleyes:

Bull Frog, is it just that you want to get rid of the Shorty for a longer one. Seems you weren't happy with the accuracy or something if I remeber.
If that is the case, why not go over to www.assaultweb.net and check out the For Sae Forum and look for a long list of Uppers by CougarMerlinMarverickGoose. See if he would trade you something longer.

Honestly, I am happy you asked about the trade...I would hate to see you lose $4-500 and still have the accuracy problems.

I WISH the shorty ak model still ran for 850.00, then i could actually get most of my money back as it is, because that's what i payed, nowadays they can be found for 650, and even with all the money i've sunken into it in accessories, i can't get out of it the same price i payed for the rifle alone. I wasn't sure on the price of the poly tech rifles. the trade's accessories seemed to work out but i didn't want to get E-SCr*wed on the rifle. the actually karstin the bushmaster shoots fine, i just never fell in love with the action. I guess i'm more of an m-1a kind of guy. (ps anyone want to buy the dang thing it's on the for sale board, if you don't like my price, make an offer, i'm tired of being jerked around with half assed trade offers, though the ak is one of the better ones i recieved. would you beleive someone actually offered me a bushmaster shorty, non ak model with one magazine, finish all scratched, no accessories barrel shot all to hell for an even swap!

I guess it may have been on another board where someone was unhappy about there shorty.
I just read your ad and that is on heck of a package for $820.00 :eek: Figuring from the from the looks of things and who's stuff you bought someone is getting about $550-600 in toys.....heck that is $240 in mags alone.

Maybe you ought to post a few pic's with all the stuff and the AR and have you posted at AW.Net or ar15.com?

That should make someone a very inexpencive entry level package and a great place to start.

Good luck, maybe things are just slow now. I know I have 3 SK's for sale and not a nibble.

yea it stinks i tell ya. i was trying for a while to sell it at 875(still a good price) but got bored and decided to just dump it, and i still have no takers at 820! ya know as soon as i sell it, they will be perminantly banned or something stupid like that, they'll tripple in value and i'll never stop kicking myslef. oh well, thanks for the advice, i've got to pick up a scanner.
