Is there anything that would make the media turn on Clinton?

Clinton was behind the chain of events that made Janet Nero and her brownshirts turn on Michael Gates. Too bad Mr. Gates didn't share enough of the wealth with the DNC! The fact that Gates is in large part responsible for the fact that average people like us can afford to be on the Net is not enough for the White House Socialists.

Following this line of logic, Clinton is responsible for the hurried devaluation of the Nasdaq and the bumps we have witnessed today across Wall Street. Will you ever hear Broke-jaw, I'd Rather not or High School drop-out Jennings lament the legal extortion taking place in this country right now? No you won't. Imagine what would have happened if George W. Bush would have sued Microsoft and the market would have fallen like it did today. The Elian story would have taken a back seat.

I would love to force all of the Media to live in one of the gang infested neighborhoods of the nation without a means to defend themselves for six months. I bet we would hear a different tune out of those idiots. Joeseph Goebbels would be proud of our national press corps. Hitler would be proud of Clinton.

I beleive that our Commander in Sleaze could have sex with small boys on the White House lawn at noon on easter and the press would still love him. I just can't figure out what the attraction is that the press has with the man.

As crazy at it sounds, There is a strong rumour that Hillary goes to a voodoo woman in Alexandria, Egypt named Setuta. She lives near my Mother-in-law's cousin. I went there when I was visiting in Jan. this year. She was booked all that week and I couldn't get to see her. However,my wife asked the secretary about Hillary and she was told that Hillary had last seen Setuta on her trip to the Middle East in the Summer of 99.

Pretty crazy stuff, but if there is any truth to voodoo, it would account for Bill's un-natural (get the reference?) popularity with the press.

Example of the media never vilifying Clinton:

Osama Bin Laden: responsible for blowing up a marine barracks, the World Trade Center, and two U.S. Embassies. Yet he is relatively unknown around most of the Arab world. In stead of making Bin Laden go away the old fashioned way, we launch 60+ cruise missles (how many million $ is that worth) into Afganistan and Sudan, blowing up some camps, and a pharmacutical factory (that turned out to be innocent). Because of the U.S. response, our most dangerous terrorist enemy has gone from being relatively unknown, to being a folk hero to every militant on Earth who thinks the U.S. is the great Satan. So now even if he was brought to justice, he would just be a martyr.

Haven't heard anything critical about Capt. Cruise-missle out of the media though. A Republican president can't even talk bad about another country with out being vilified.

Forgive my rant, that just bugs me so much I can't help it.

Will, if the media gods were forced to live in the trenches. I don't really think they'd survive the ordeal. You see, they'd make the fatal mistake of getting in someone's face and flaunting their greatness.

The only way they (media) would turn on him is if he flat out burned down their house. And that ain't gonna happen because he needs them to carry the lies to the herds. He needs them to keep making the movies so they(the herds) won't get bored, and start looking around and really see what's going down here.

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.

It is never wise to generalize! However, many of the present media heads are Socialistic brothers and sisters of bill's.
He is one of them. They are on the same page. That is why they side with Castro etc. They would turn on him the same way that they turned on Hanoi Jane. Let him truly embrace Christianity. That would do it.

If the Gonad-in-Chief were to order his lapdogs to censor and/or shut down the big media outlets, then we might see the Media turning on Bill.

You must remember--the Media (in effect) elected Bill Clinton. Since they put him there, they can't very well turn around and say, "Oopsie, we screwed up." If they did, we might not let them elect the next one...

If a "1984" scenario were to become reality(some would say it already is), you can thank your friend Bill Gates aka the man who made "Farenheit 451" his manifesto. The law is the law, and if he broke it he deserves to pay.

The interesting thing about the Bill Gates legal predicament is :" Did he do anything really wrong or was he just too too successful?"
And has been pointed out. If he had endowed the DNC, would he be prosecuted?

I doubt that the commercial press will ever turn on Clinton while he still has any power over the government. You must always remember that the commercial press and media are first and foremost businesses. The news reporters will always claim otherwise, but the top management will always let their manager's know loud and clear if the company's financial well being is threatened. They are, in fact, here to make money for their owners. They will always be diferential to whomever has the power to affect their business adversly and the president of the United States has that power though a multitude of channels.
I will not try to make a rigid determinism out of this, for real life situations are always more complex than the theoretical and real exceptions can and do occure, but I believe that the above is the general situation.
Never forget that the commercial press flourished under the regime of Adolf Hitler. He didn't stop the press as a business. It was the smaller, more principled press that took it on the nose.

From my own personal stash-

It is my opinion that Bill Clinton
is one of a very few people who could
without the aid of personal fortune
face no sanction for any of the following:
Being caught on live national television
in the Chinese embassy lighting a crack
pipe with a burning American flag while
sodomizing a nun, and eating a filet o'
fetus sandwich with the cord hanging out...
...and nothing would happen.
Well, then again, Poland could be nuked.

The day that bill trades his pin-stripes for an orange one-piece will be a good day.

Bet that.

The entire basis for the Microsoft anti-trust lawsuit is so stupid! Imagine if Ford were forced to use Chevy radios in their trucks or Toyta forced to use Volkswagon's engines. Microsoft owns the market share with operating systems. So what! It's their software, their design, their marketing. Why should they have to put another company's browser on it? Netscape could have designed an OS too if they wished. Many company tried and failed. Punish Microsoft for their success? BS

As for the piece of sh!t I refuse to call my president, he's satan in disguise. It is the only logical explanation for the media's infatuation with him. He has his spell upon all their ignorant minds. Klingon could burn their houses down, kill their dogs and cats and have "sexual relations" with all their women and they'd still love him. With all the problems we have in the United States, they choose to focus their attention on a Cuban boy. Go figure...

ArmySon. When you call our illustrious LIAR IN CHIEF Satan, you may be closer to the truth than you think. I would rather consider him the Anti-Christ though.. Who else could slide his way through all his felonious acts and not even get a scratch?
We'll justhave to wait and see. Don't think it will be too long now.

quote:
Most people will have read the recent reports of how Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates has had his personal net worth soar over 80 billion dollars. He certainly knows how to make money.
Consider that he made this money in the 24 years or so since Microsoft was founded in 1975. If you presume that he has worked 14 hours a day on every business day of the year since then, that means he's been making money at a staggering million dollars per hour, around $300 per second.
Which means that if, on his way into the office, should he see or drop a $1000 bill on the ground, it's just not worth his time to bend over and pick it up. He would make more just heading off to work.[/quote]
I know, hardly relevent or accurate, but interesting none the less. Gates is currently part of a Presidential panel, put together to shape the future direction of the fed's role in the computer industry. (Bit of a conflict of intrest or something else at work there?) Since stepping down as CEO of Microsoft a month or 2 ago, Gates is putting his efforts and time into other areas. The above gvt panel is one, as is his involvement in the Biomedical field. Guess he wants to make sure that he not only lives forever, but lives in his own little world.
While he can still make money by doing nothing, Gates still needs to make sure he isn't squeezed out of Microsoft since he only owns a 15 % share. Not too plausible, but still possible to happen.

IMHO, Gates cut a personal deal with the feds so as to avoid the same pitfall as Howard Hughes fell into with his TWA holdings. Most of the trial was window dressing, and us unwashed masses never knew the real story, much less cared.

What most people don't realize is that Microsoft, like all other software companies, is just a bad major revision away from disaster and being a has been. Windows 98 has been a less than stellar performer, and Office 2000 has been slow and buggy so far. From early indications, Windows 2000 has yet to become anything near what was promised. Most of the revenue Microsoft is generating now is on what can be called "Legacy Products". While technology moves ahead, Microsoft has pretty nuch stood still for the last 18 months. Microsoft is starting to hurt. Granted, with a worth of several hundred billion dollars, the hurt right now is minor, but it is a hurt. A breakup could suit Gates/Microsoft just fine. They could shed the chaff, and move on. Gates could retain his holdings, while Clinton and company directed which parts should be spun off(read dumped). Long before he was a geek, Gates was the son of a wealthy lawyer, and studied a bit of law himself. He may well be a prick, a wealthy one at that, but there is a considerable chunk of grey matter under that dishelved hair.

On topic: A big ugly eyestalk growing out of Clinton's forehead may turn off some of the media, maybe. LOL

Will Beararms:

A possible to your question, "Is there anything that would cause the media to turn on Clinton", have I got it right, I suspect that the answer would be, "not likely" unless there actually happened to be a real criminal indictment, trial and conviction, that even his media apoligists could not deny. Personally, I do not expect to see any such action, though I certainly could be wrong.

The only thing I can think of is if he said, "I believe the 2nd amendment means exactly what it says and I intend to use the full powers of my office to see that it's completely enforced". Turn on him! They would try to lynch him in 24 hours and I'd buy the rope 'cause I'd know he was lying.

It makes me wonder how "Wag The Dog" ever made it out to the public. It sure was a close resembelence to KLINTON. Or maybe that was where he got the idea that saved him. The movie did come out first didn't it?

Ed Brunner and ctdonath, Bill Klinton is a Christian. He is a confirmed Southern Baptist. And since he is a Christian he is automatically forgiven for his transgresions and sins, nice system, REAL NICE.
