So, im looking around at AK's, and other various automatic rifles, and i come across this:

I really want a rifle with a top rail, so i can use an optic, that also has back-up iron sights. Honestly i want a SCAR, but i dont have the $3000.

Are these good rifles? are there better options for an AK with a top rail out there? anyone have any comments on this specific make and model? anything different you would recomend?
 
Looks like a deal to me...

I can get a WASR 10/63 for $399.00 but that has some inprovments on it. with a G2 trigger thrown in plus some other stuff.

I say go for it....
 
I have a friend that just ordered that one from Bud's.

At $500 it's probably a decent value. Keep in mind it's just a WASR, but with the upgraded fore end rail, that's probably at least a $100 upgrade to a stock one. Better trigger too.

At $500, I think you would be satisfied. I just spent the money on an Arsenal SGL21, but I really wanted a higher end AK.
