Is there a press that . . .

Without having to buy a high end progressive press, is there a press that has a rotating bottom plate and the dies stay still? What I'd like to do is deprime and size one case and expand another on the same pull. Something that cost around $100. Or am I going to have to "bite the bullet" and buy a progressive?

Lee makes a few inexpensive progressive presses for just a bit more than you want to spend. I think the pro1000 is around $160. and the loadmaster is around $180. Both can be had with the dies for a particular calibre. The Pro1000 only has 3 stations so you won't be able to do a crimp, but frankly it doesn't make much difference in pistol rounds anyway.

Look for an old, beat-up Lee Pro 1000 on ebay...that will fit
your need.

The answer on nope. Cheepest alternative is a turret so you have to rotate the head back and forth. Go onto Ebay.......you aint gonna find an inexpensive Lee 1000.

It just aint that hard to seat and crimp in the same die either.

You might be able to find a used Pro 1000 for that.
