Is there a good funnel for

i bought some nice ones on Amazon that were made out of stainless steel. The smallest even worked on the OLD Hercules red topped cans that you pulled in and out to use.

The cheapest solution is cutting an old 2 liter soda bottle. Instant funnel!:D

BTW: after I washed it, I dust them with graphite powder! works like a charm.

Always used the hopper of my thrower, but you can buy plastic funnels in assorted sizes really cheap in a dollar store. Dollar store are for friend for stuff like that.
"...an old 2 liter soda bottle..." That too, but it's a pop bottle unless it's filled with beer. Soda is carbonated water that gets mixed with brandy or scotch. snicker.

I use some of the paper type like you get at stores to pour oil in your car that worked great. I use those when I haul my gear to the range or elsewhere to work up loads.

But I also have the SS type for the house.

DOH! Thanks Mike. You can roll a sheet copy/printer paper into a funnel and staple it together too. That works well for filling pepper shakers and mills as well.

Standard cheap funnel from WalMart, Tractor Supply, or similar. Pick about a 4" or 5" size. If you have problem with powder sticking, wash it but I haven't had any problem. Buy a pair, cut the lower part off of one and used it to dump primers into the tray.

any light weight ...wide mouth opening --- funnel will work just fine...

I prefer plastic ...opaque...so I can see the powder flow from the side.

I use a plastic funnel. The first time I used it the powder stuck to it. The wise and experienced members here advised me to wipe it down with a dryer sheet. Haven't had a problem since..

Just wanted to see if there was some fancy super cool funnel out there. Would be kind of cool if Hodgdon made a screw on one for their bottles.

Ended up cutting the top off a large mouthwash bottle. Works fine but no cool factor. :D

If it screwed to the top, unless it had a pass-through, you'd wind up with powder on the lip of the bottle. You can, however, make such a thing with a big aluminum funnel and the cap off a powder jar. Just drill the cap and stick the funnel in and glue it in place with silicone sealant.

Now, if you are talking powder funnels for cases, yes there are fancy ones.

You can easily find an alumingum funnel at any hardware store with old fashioned kitchen goods. paste wax the inside after buffing.

Had an aunt who used to sell snow cones, she gave a few of the paper cone holders, all I do is snip the bottom with scissors.

I have found an aluminum or stainless steel funnel work best , got mine in the kitchen gadget section of wally mart . Free flowing , no static cling...
they are better than plastic and don't have to be large.
I use the red MTM powder funnel for powder into case , but they are too small for pouring powder from measure back into jug .
