Here in AZ, we have quite a few small towns ncorporating themselves. The reason they give is to be able to tax the populace.

Why must they become a corp.??, and where does this law eminate from.

I believe the term incorporated means "geographically integrated" when it refers to a legally constituted city, village, township, etc. This is NOT the same meaning as "incorporated" in the commercial context.
