Is the SIG M400

I'd be more concerned that the Sig doesn't have the near universal positive reviews that the Colt does. I don't have a Sig M400, don't know anyone who does, so obviously I have no firsthand knowledge, and take other reviews of it with a grain of salt whether it's scathing or lauditory. With that said, the Sig AR's have gotten pretty mixed reviews, and I'd be cautious and do my research on them,

I've not seen to much negative on them, perhaps I've not dug deep enough could you point me to the direction of the reviews?

General feeling more than any review sticking out. People asking if they were bad. I didn't shop for one, so I didn't delve to deeply Could just be the same Don't buy a pinto, it explodes kind of thing.

A buddy just bought a M400 last week and I went over it with him (his first AR, I had several) and it looks fine. The M400 is a DI Mil spec AR so all parts are interchangable with other ARs and the barrel used is full auto capable so I see no reason you or he would have trouble. We are going to a 100yd range this weekend and I will report back.

BTW he baought the FDE "enhanced" version with a Cerakote paint job and flip up sites for $950 which I find to be a heck of a deal. I would buy this one in a heart beat. Also I havent heard of any complaints of the M400 on AR15.com which is a dedicated AR site.

I say get it, shoot it and be happy! :)
