Is the Kahr MK9 a "Pocket Pistol"?

Yes, you can use it for pocket carry. It is a little better for pocket carry than a Glock 26. I carry mine in an Uncle Mike's number three pocket holster occasionally. It is heavy for pocket carry, so you will need a good belt and pants with relatively stiff material. I prefer my Kahr P9 for pocket carry, it is larger but lighter. The Kel-tec P11 is perhaps better for pocket carry. The gun I use most for pocket carry is the Kel-tec P32. The MK9 carrys better in my Galco ankle holster, or a belt holster.

i carry an MK40 everyday in a Kramer horsehide pocket holster. it is carried in my back pocket. as stated a belt is required to insure your pants stay up unless your waistband is a lot tighter than mine.
in jeans, the very back of the pistol will be visible at the top of your pocket. this can be covered with a handkerchef or a shirttail left out. i see this placement as an advantage. if a pocket pistol is too deep in the pocket it is more difficult to get a grip on.
