Is the GP100 in 44spl now a distributor exclusive?

As the title suggests.

Is this gun now a distributor special, because I was planning to see if the local importer here could order one with the next delivery as I’m toying the idea of moving on to that from my .38 Spl snub but it appears to be “Talo” only?

:(

I’ll be honest, here.

I’d love to think so, but I have never ever seen any .44spl for sale here.

The likelihood of finding one is veeeeery slim.

Yup. Estonia.

Finding a revolver that is not a Taurus is already tricky.

I've seen two Rugers on sale used in the last 7 years. One a Blackhawk and one a GP100 .357, 6". Never a .44Spl.

The only ammo (.44Spl) on sale I've ever seen was LRN cowboy action rounds!

A decent spread of guns for an EU nation, but certainly not a cornucopia.

If it must be a Ruger, you can order a Redhawk in 44 mag and shoot 44 special out of it. The GP100 was designed to be similar to the Redhawk and the biggest difference is size of the cylinder and overall weight. When you have a desire for a different gun you can just change ammunition to 44 mag.

If it must be a 44 special only, then see if they can find a Charter Arms. It's not a Ruger, but it works.
