Is the 3.5lb connector on a Glock really worth it ??

Do you think it helps accuracy all that much and what about liability prblems with a so called "light modified trigger" ??

You can ask the same thing onany trigger job, Glock or otherwise...

I've two Glocks, a 17 with the 3.5# pull (this was originally sold as a 17L) and a 19 with the standard trigger. I like them both, but after shooting the 19 for a while, the 17 goes off mighty easy! Got to watch that!

Reckon I like the 3.5# pull the best...it just feels smoother.

Both my 19 and my 21 have the 3.5lb disconnects. I shot IDPA, and I think it helps.

Truth be told, though, I think if I were to ever be in a situation where I had to use my gun versus a person I don't think I would ever notice that extra two pounds.

My carry pistol is a Glock 26 with the 3.5lb connector, and reduced power trigger spring. My pull is right at 3.5lbs. This pistol is a gem. Sure, I have to ride it in a holster that covers the trigger, but that's no problem. I carry it IWB without a thought. It's no different than carrying a 1911 cocked and locked!! In fact it's safer IMHO, because there are 3 safeties, not just 2. I shoot the 26 better than my G19 which has the stock trigger. IMO, if you are justified in using deadly force, then trigger pull dosen't matter. As far as civil goes, if you tell the cops that you didn't shoot to kill, you shot to STOP, and stick with it, you will be OK.

I have 3.5 connectors in all my Glocks. From a liability perspective, I look at it like this: If it was a problem, why does Glock put it in any of their guns?

The 3.5, along with a little polishing and a good lube like Neco Molyslide will make a heckuva difference in your trigger.
