No. Some reporter took a general statement about the direction of the parent corp. and extrapolated that they were actively seeking buyers for S&W. S&W is a tiny part of the corp., but apparently is making a profit.
The only company I can think of, off hand, that I'd like to see buy S&W would be Ruger. Hmm, or maybe Mossberg....
