Is Silenco customer service any good?

A year ago, I got a pair of active hearing protection earmuffs from my girlfriend. They broke almost at once but she couldn't find the receipt, so all I could do was get another pair of identical kind from Galyan's. Now the damn thing broke again the same exact way (the wire pressed into plastic muff broke off). My options are 1)trying to get store credit and using it for something else (tough as I no longer even know where the packaging is) or 2)try to convince Silenco to refund my (girlfriend's) money, about $100.

Any suggestions as to how I can go about this?
