Is Ruger going to make a compact?

All the Ruger semiauto's that I have seen have been a bit on the large size.
So I was wondering if Ruger is ever going to make a compact?

I've read a handful of interviews with Bill. EVERY one asked him about compacts and EVERY one listed his response as something to the effect of, "We only make sporting firearms." This implies that self-defense isn't a sport. It also implies that their Mini-14, SP-101, and UZI SMG are all for sport? BS. I think Ruger has as many political hangups as he has talent. And, Brother, that's alot.

Maybe you mean _sub_ compact?

Several million folks who CCW n 32 states might disagree with what Bill thinks people need too?
