is my police six a k or l frame??

i have bought a pancake holster for my ruger police service six 4 inch barrel. i now have found a leather iwb holster but they don't make them for my six, they have k and l frame holsters. which would be best fit on my gun? thanks
 
I have a Security Six. Basically the same gun with different sights. It fits in the same holster as my S&W k-frame Model 15. (I think the Ruger fits a little snugger, but I might be imagining that)
 
My Security Six fits into a K-Frame holster. Safariland 328 Pancake Style for a 2 3/4" Security Six to be precise. Took a while to break-in the holster, but it works quite well.
 
Ok here is my Ruger Security Six and S&W 66-1.

Note the Security Six is a bit beefier. But both will fit into my Don Hume CCW holster. The Security Six will fit a bit more snug but it still fits.

The Security Six is what the S&W 19/66 should have been as for thickness (but the S&W does pack a bit easier.)

A Ruger Security Six is the closest to am S&W model 19. Holsters that fit a model 19 will also fit Security Six.
 
so a holster that fit's a 4 inch 357 s&w 66 or 19 will also fit a service six 357 4 inch? i found a great deal on a pancake holster and was wondering. thanks
