Is Lieberman really Paulsen?

I don't know if you are old enough to remember The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, but it struck me that Lieberman reminded me of Pat Paulsen. The following is a link to Paulsen's Amendments to the Constitution. I can't decide if they are funny or prophetic.
