Is Ithaca firearms closed? (again)

There website has been down for a while now. I live about an hour from Ithaca, NY, so you'd think I'd hear about it if they went under.

Well that stinks! Just a few months ago I saw that they had reintroduced an "Homeland Security" M37. I guess I'll have to find police trade-in somewhere. Oh well thanks anywho.

I live about 10 miles from the "new" Ithaca plant.. they are indeed closed. whenever I get to Auburn, NY which is quite often I try to go by the plant and see if there is any activity, none seen so far. Too bad, I just hope they can find the backing to start up AGAIN. They have made many financial mistakes in the past, produced a great shotgun although pricy. The other problem is that they were using very old machines that are terribly labor intensive and slow. I have toured their old plant in King Ferry several times and they just couldn't turn out enough guns quick enough. They actually haven't been located IN Ithaca for a long time, they moved to King Ferry which is North of Ithaca a bit, then several months ago to Auburn, NY where they folded.
