Is it worth it to have some work done to an Astra A-100

This gun is a Sig clone, but its not as smooth or finished as well. The slide serrations are very, very sharp, and its just not finished very well. Would it be worth my time/money to have a smith smooth out the rough spots and refinish the gun, or would I be dumping too much cash into the gun. I guess what I am asking, is can you make a Sig clone silky smooth like a sig, for a reasonable price?

What would smiths generally charge just to take off all the sharp edges and rough spots, and then put a matte nickle on the gun?

Thanks for bearing with my total lack of gunsmithing knowledge.
 
I had one and thought it was a fairly well made piece BUT.
If you are going to put a mess of money in it why not use the money to trade up to a sig?
