I got a baikal izh27 (12 gauge),yesterday,and when taking a look at the barrels ,I noticed that the barrel walls on the breech side (chamber) are thin.
I had an old baikal made in the ussr (sxs) ,it had nice thick barrel walls.
Does it mean that the new baikal production is saving up steel from the barrels,and thus rendering the gun unsafe to use,specially with heavy loads?
