Is that a stockshok on your gun? How do you like it. I am waiting for the Knoxx SpecOps to come out. I am torn between which one to get (still).

My Winchester Police Stainless model. It has a Bushnell Halosight and yes,,,,a laser. After 6 shoulder surgeries I can't mount it properly too many times so this allows me to shoot from the hip. The Kickeez recoil pad helps too. Vang Comp Systems backbored and ported the barrel.

A nice weapon.
 
Yep, Kraigster, that's a StockShox. I really like it tho" I haven't tried or even seen the Knoxx unit. It certainly tamed the recoil! No complaints out of my surgically repaired shoulder. Here's a pic of it.

Delzo, that's a great looking Winchester!

"Stockshox" - sorry for the mispelling. The Knox SpecOps is expected to hit the streets next month.

The only thing I am not too thrilled about on my Rem 870P pictured above is the flashlight mount. I am always afraid of overtightening and leaving marks on the extension. I have since ordered an LMT flashlight mount that is supposed to be an improvement over the typical ext tube mount. For those interested.

By the way, on the Rem 870 Police I have an XS Sight System installed (Big Dot Express set) - front and rear that is a snap to pick up in low light. Highly recommend. Other items of interest on the 870P - Tac Star 2000 flash light and coiled pressure pad, Wilson mag extension (the best on the market IMHO), Bungee cord sling, left hand safety conversion (tricky, involved and expensive), Mesa Tactical shell holder right side mount for lefties, Hogue 12 in. LOP stock and forend. Pending is a Knoxx SpecOps stock.

My Win 1300 pictured in the opening post has ghost ring combat sights (MMC) which I originally wanted on my Rem 870P but could not find when I was hunting for a new 870P. Now that I've used the XS sight system, I prefer the XS to the ghost rings. The XS sight is easy to "pick up," great in low light, and provides precision accuracy with slugs. The best of all possible worlds in my opinion.

SR, that's one heck of a setup you got there. :) Delzo, I like yours too. I want to see more samples!!

One totally un-tactical express Magnum

Then again a weapon cant be tactical, it has no tactics of its own. Only
the operator can employ tactics, in which case this might sufice.

Here's my modest collection. Mostly bird guns.
From left to right: Winchester 1200 Defender, Remington 1100 .12, Remington 1100 Lt .20, Winchester '97, Winchester Model 37 .410, His & Hers Mossberg 500's in .20, and a Western Auto Revelation in .12.

And of course, if I ever take out a shotgun, my German Shorthair, Daisy, will be close by. She seems a bit bummed I'm not loading up and heading outside.

A couple more closer shots. The laser I stalled was meant to be a trigger-guard mount so I drilled through the tube cap and installed it easily. The laser body is canted a bit so the push switch can be accessed easier from either side.

The Butler Creek folding stock had to be modified some. Too many shoulder repairs so the rangemaster finally convinced me to shoot it properly,,,the tactical hold. The buttstock is held against your chest, just above your nipple, so you are constantly looking down the barrel, straight away. I couldn't bend my head down enough to use the halosight in that position, so I cut the stock and re-welded so it raised the weapon up where I looked through it easily, without ducking my head.
