**Is it the end of the line for the Sig Classic series?

Is it the end of the line for the Sig Classic series? Will Sig make another Classic series pistol in the near future?Will the Sig Pros pistols be the future for Sig Sauer?
 
Nah,

The classic series is what Sig relies upon to keep their reputation. The Sigpros are just elcheapo guns to compete with Glocks in the race to the lowest bid.
I hear that there is a double stack Sig Classic 45 in the wings. The latest issue of Guns and Wapons for law enforcement has a little blurb about it. Still, I sure wouldn't mid seeing a sigpro 45 or 10mm....hmm?
Or how about a 229 sized 45 with a 7 round mag! I'm dreaming.

Although we won't be winning any friends among the SigPro owners of this board, I have to agree with Greg. The classic series should be with us for many years to come.
