Is it my imagination or...

does the price on Kimber .45s seem to go up daily?

Every time I'm in at the local Galyans to pick up some ammo I see the Kimbers.

Every time I'm in (about once a month or so) the price has gone up.

IIRC, these guns originally started out as relatively inexpensive competitors to the Colt line.

When I was in this evening, the Colt 1991A1 was about $30 LESS than the base model Kimber...

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just my imagination?

I don't follow Kimbers much, but I have noticed that the Colt 1991A1 seems to be getting more and more expensive. I personally called Colt and asked them if the 1991A1 is still in production, and I was assured that the 1991A1 is still being made, with no plans to halt it. The person I spoke to also informed me of new Colt revolvers coming out soon....
