What can you guys tel me about aguila ammo? In my country (Honduras) we only import foreign ammo from Mexico, phillipines and Checoslovaquia. It seems that after the atacks on the US (not by us) on september 11th the US changed its policies about exporting Ammo and Firearms. That is the reason that people who did get to buy US made firearms berore the atacks are holding a gun valued maybe twice what they paid for. So the finest guns sold here at this moment are Taurus and CZ, they also sell some imports from China, phillipines, Agentina is good.
So I now US made ammo is the best but I dont have much to choose from so what do you think about Aguila and what ammo should I use in my Taurus 851?

From informal tests I've seen. Aguila hollow point bullets tend to fragment rather than expand. It wouldn't be my first choice, but if nothing else were available, it would do.

I have been shooting my way through a brick of their SE subsonic 40 gr. rounds and they are quite nice. I don't hunt so I can't help you there. Friends of mine have tried and like the SSS 60 gr. Aguila's as well. They are a bit pricey for my plinking purposes, though.
