The NRA lists AARP as one of the organizations that has in some way supported through contributions, vocal support or other means the anti-gun organization HCI and/or gun control legislation
I share your sentiments. I've come across several references from both GOA and NRA that attribute anti-gun activity to AARP. This is why I've not joined that organization, and never will. By the way, I don't own a Gateway computer for the same reason...
Years ago, I told AARP to take me off their mailing list because of its position on gun control. I don' remember the specific issue, but it was very clear at the time. I doubt that AARP's position has changed.
Same here. Those darn inner leg seams always rubbed a hole in my hide when in the saddle more than an hour or two. Now I only wear Wranglers when I plop my buns back against the high cantle.
