Is a kydex holster the same as a ABS holster?

I was going to buy this

It says it is made out of ABS. But when I google it I can't find much, people call plastic holsters a kydex holster.

Is abs a cheaper kind of plastic or is it the same thing?

yes, kydex is a good holster material. ABS isnt. They are not the same.

Cheaper ABS should be rigid but it isnt as flexible as Kydex is. That one from Beretta looks like its somewhat in the middle ground. Unless i am totally thinking about the wrong materials.

if you are going ABS get something with retention such as safriland ALS or blackhawk serpa. i assume you will be open carrying your 92
