iowa laws on hunting with high cap magazines?

does iowa have a law for only 10 rd magazines? or can you use 15,20,30 rd ones? thanks for any info you have!

yielded only mention of Min. .24 cal no mention of mag capacity so you may wish to wait until monday to call... Main number had no answer today...

The only mag capacity restriction I am aware of in Iowa is for watefowl hunting.

Other than that I don't know of any. I usually skim through the hunting regs just prior to going home for the deer season to see if anything has changed.

thanks guys, never hard of one but you never know.my dad keeps telling me to buy a 10rd mag just to be safe.

There is no state round restriction, only on calibers specific to handguns and center fire rifles used for hunting.
