I want to encourage anyone who can to support the recent Iowa Bill HF2092 that changes Iowa from a "May Issue" state to a "Shall Issue" state.
Currently, Iowa is "May Issue" and discretion lies with each of the State's 99 Cou ty Sheriff's as to whether they will issue a CCW permit. As you can imagine, discretion varies wildly.
If you are from Iowa, please contact your State Representative and State Senator. If you are not from Iowa, please encourage any organization you belong to to help get the word out. By bringing attention to this issue, we may influence the outcome.
