Just want to introduce myself. Been living in the city of Deroit about a year now , born and raised in New Jersey. I ask you be patient as I may ask some "dumb" questions as I am new to this exhilarating life of the gun owner. In NJ the gun laws are so strict it's useless to own handguns, but now in Michigan I'm hooked. Since getting my CPL in July I have made a few purchases. I own a Kahr PM9, IWI Baby eagle compact, Walter pps 40, Sig 226 elite Dark, and a Sig P220 stainless elite. So anyway, I will be around thanks for having me.

Welcome and ask whatever you need to. No stupid questions.

Was July your introduction into firearms also or did you have any experience before recieving your license?

Thanks everyone I appreciate the warm welcome. I'm actually here for work , one thing I like is the lack of traffic and obviously the firearm laws. NY/NJ is just ridiculous when it comes to owning handguns.

Welcome Riotready. So you say you are riot ready right. Where is the shotgun? Just kidding. The only dumb or stupid question is the one that is not asked. Don't be afraid to ask any question you consider important. If you can think it someone else has to and is afraid to ask it. We would rather have a newbie ask a question instead of trying something on their own and possibly getting hurt or worse. There are many other forums that may also help you out with info on specfic guns, gear, tactics, and ammo. Again welcome. Stay safe.

Concealed pistol license
Thank you. I'm not so well versed on these things.

Hey, which States have the CRL (Concealed Revolver License?) ;) States are so hungry for revenue they'll probably start charging different fees for either a pistol or revolver Carry License...Just kidding of course but the semantics of how different States define or call their respective laws are interesting. In MO. it's called CCW license, others CHL and now CPL...

-Cheers
